VAT status

Tell CleanHut whether you are VAT registered. You remain responsible for applying the correct VAT treatment to your services.

Upload verification documents

Upload your documents before submitting your profile. Files are private and reviewed by CleanHut. Uploading does not mean verified.

Accepted documents: a valid passport, photocard driving licence or national identity card.
Upload a clear colour image showing the whole document. Your photo, full name and expiry date (where shown) must be readable.
For cards, combine the front and back in one PDF or image.
Formats: PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP. Maximum 10 MB per file.

Right to Work in the UK — required

Identity and Right to Work must both be verified before your profile becomes active. Home Office share-code checks use the official employer service. British/Irish citizens use the appropriate document or digital identity route.

This check covers you. Companies must also check everyone they send to jobs.

Verification and trust

  • Identity verification — required before a cleaning professional profile can become active.
  • Business verification — used where the provider is a registered cleaning company.
  • Insurance verification — shown as a trust badge when valid cover is confirmed.
  • DBS check — completely optional. It is never required to join, view jobs or send quotes; professionals who provide a valid check can receive a highlighted “DBS checked” badge.
    • Get paid on your terms: Cleared earnings can be requested whenever you like. Standard payouts normally arrive within 1–3 business days, with faster payouts available to eligible accounts when Stripe supports them. Any faster-payout fee will be shown before confirmation.

    CleanHut charge: 10% of each completed contracted amount. There is no initial listing fee or subscription. Contact details unlock only after payment.
